ALOHA!

I am Royce Ragragola,

Thanks for visiting my site.

These are some of the pieces and projects I've had the

creative mind, artistic hand & a labor of love in.

THESE ARE THE PIECES OF ME AS A:

Creative  |  Graphic Designer  |  Artist

My Work

Work

The art of the pen tool. Having my introduction to graphic design in the print industry, I utilize many of the old large format and digital printing techniques. For my illustrations, I employ my knowledge in print and color theory. To invoke emotion with the slightest of contrast. Creating a sense of realism through relatable hues, but yet exploiting a touch of subtle complimentary colors to highlight perception and depth in 2D.

The logos and branding projects that I have been a part of are shaped by the clients vision. I let their ideas guide me. My position as a designer is to take those thoughts and ideas, mold and shape them in the preliminary design phase, and present a shared vision of what we came up with. The end goal in my eyes, is to create a logo that not only will the client be ecstatic over, but a design that stands the test of time. Most importantly, represents the brand and who they are.

My idea for package design is simple and clean. When I look at package design, it is an outward representation of the brand's image, the product in the package, and a reflection of its target market. The way I approach a project for packaging is in a similar fashion to a branding project.

Having my start as a graphic designer in the sign industry from a production artist and print manager, has made me well versed in the production and manufacturing process. It allows me to have better communication across the board in the manufacturing and design process. Being grounded to the fundamentals of design as well as the capabilities of what's possible on the back-end with developers and/or the manufacturing process.

Working with PLAY SALTY, I got to learn a new skill, creating seamless textile designs. Falling back on my illustration, sketching, and drawing techniques, to seam up these endless pattern possibilities.

THANKS FOR LISTENING!
